I realize that everyone enjoys a good campfire, however, during periods of high fire danger is not the time to enjoy a campfire. If a campfire gets out of control, the person responsible can be assessed for any damage caused by the fire. In one case, three people were out in the SB forest, lighting fireworks, a fire started by accident, there was a helicopter crash where the pilot was killed. The adult person involved was charged with manslaughter. This is a rather drastic example, however, this did happen.
After the predicted rain starts this year would be a better time to enjoy a campfire.
