I've answered my own question by digging several pages back through the older threads. The San Bernadino area is experiencing the same closures we're experiencing here with the Angeles. I guess this isn't new news, so the fact isn't as clear on the newer threads.

Ah well. Someday it will rain again. (won't it?)
