Re: closed for how long?

i agree with the opinion (fact) that we intervene too often with the forces of nature. but, most of our fires today seem to be arson. what is that about? i live in no ca near mt st. helena and we have had two small fires around the mt. this year, both just off road. last week i was driving behind someone and watched as a burning cigarette butt came flying out the window. i was pissed and still remember the license #. what happens if i report this incident? anything? i was not in a position to do anything except memorize the #.
