I am keeping it in mind, DCR, but I don't agree. Of course, nature still does make the best rock stacks. Your comment is the first I've heard about it being considered grafitti. Are there others who see it this way? I've spoken to rangers and members of the search and rescue teams, and so far everyone has enjoyed them and none have felt they were wrong. I have been stacking rocks for years, and was very pleased on my first visit to DCHS to see that others had been stacking them in the area. I try to talk to everyone, and so far all have liked them. Once I spoke to a devout Christian woman in the Gavilon Hills who was concerned that they were some kind of occult thing, but after I explained why I stacked them she came with me and helped to make some interesting stacks. You say that quite a few people do not approve, but you haven't said that you personally do not approve. If you do not, then I apologize for being among the people who have done things that you find offensive. Peace.
