Well well well, finally got another chance to get out that way to the springs. What a lousy day! Saw 1 small snake out there just after paying the 4 dollars to park, got out and moved him off the road so he wouldnt get run over. Sun was shining, people were having entirely to much fun, the pools were clean, and the larger pools were just a little better than perfect. Probably about 40 ish people there today. Very cool- while we were swimming in the large pool a guy came walking up with a bunch of those "squishy" balls and started to toss them out in the water- well we all had a blast throwing them at each other, he tells me that he brings a bunch down every Sunday. We talked for a few minutes- what a neat guy. Mud felt great on the feet after the hike in and I didnt want to leave at all. We got there about 830am and didnt leave till about 4pm- needless to say we (or I) got burned pretty good. People came down with Horses, lots of dogs were there but all had fun and the dogs were cool to watch as well. People were doing flips off a few ledges and it looked as if everyone was having the same terrible day as I was. The tubs were a little warmer than I cared to get into (but did anyhow for a while) in the heat so I opted for the pools. We brought in a trash bag for our own personal things like cans and cigarette butts and picked up a few other things along the way to help out. I want to come back soon to experience the same day I had today to see if can be as outstanding. Yes I think I will soon.
