Re: Name for New Group - Sixth Round

Thanks Wizard for your come around and all the rest of you for your encouragement and positive posts. My first choice continues to be Deep Creek Hot Springs Volunteers for the reasons that Paul P. expressed in the last round. Deep Creek Volunteers would be second and DCHS Alliance third.

I don't think having Hot Springs in the name will limit us to just doing things at these springs. I also pick up trash at San Onofre, Blacks, and other places and will continue to do so whatever name we end up with. Our limitations will be given by the number of members and there individual comitments and schedules. All positive contibutions will help the cause, are we do not plan on having minimum comitments to be part of the group.

I just feel that the actual Hot Springs is what brought us together in the first place and I would like to see it as part of the name. However I will be part of this group whatever name we chose, because I am convinced that forming this group will be beneficial to the springs and better than all the individual isolated efforts that we have today.

See those of you that can make it tomorrow afternoon and we will post what was discussed on this forum for the benefit of DCR and the rest of those of you that can't be there.
