you brought up some interesting comments and questions. Unfortunately Wizard doesn't have clue about why Mike C. at Bowen Ranch turns people away at times. It's been explained to him in post a few months back by Tanya Ryan. I reposted her response once again a few weeks ago. So basically what you are witnessing here is, that Wizard is playing the mouth of Katrina, who by the way is Gail Fry.

Both of these people want open access to the public as close to the hot springs as possible. Many of us do not see it that way. If they get what they what they want, they'll end-up ruining the area, because so many people will be invited out there who do not understand what many of us really want of a nice place.

Evenually it'll be people like Wizard and Gail Fry who will see to it that the hot springs will get beaten-up just like the Spillway downstream did a few years back. The Spillway is still closed on account the trashy party people.

Wizard drinks wine on a daily basis and maybe tips the bottle too much. I am one to believe it's playing on his brain and has messed his thought process down. I have had friends in past ask me about him and driving and drinking. They did not like what they saw.

Over the years, one of the problems with Wizard is, is that he's too much in hurry and does not stop to think. Without going into too much detail, the day of the reopening of the hot springs, Mike C. at the ranch invited Wizard and others into the ranch house to let all know what the new rules were. Wizard refused to stay and listen to Mike and so Mike told him to leave and not come back. Since then Wizard has gotten himself into perdicaments that he has to talk his way out of.

Basically be careful of Wizard and the way he words things.
