We can't make it up this weekend-got a full plate of family activities, soccer league, karate tournament, surfing, 10K, plus picnics! All good stuff, but I'll be ready to recharge at Deep Creek after the weekend is over. Hopefully, the long weekend will be incident free and trash free at DCHS.
It's true, theft is more prevalent now. I had my camera stolen -I was in the Anniversary Pool and it was within eyesight. Saw the kids running away with the camera -gave chase partway up the trail but they got away. Turned out it was three teenagers from Apple Valley. Other hot springers that day indicated that these three in particular have stolen stuff before. So be alert!!
