Ron, one suggestion I would make is that in the section you mention that " historically these springs have been clothing optional " . After this statement I think it would be real important to state the actual state of affairs regarding policy for nudity by " all " the various agencies. Something like this. " DCHS is in Forest Service lands. The Forest Service has a policy that allows nudity within thier lands, with the stipulation that you dress without argument if a complaint is made about the nudity. DCHS is not a designated or official clothing optional area. Visitors should be aware that the Forest Service policy is not the " only " policy that can affect you in the Forest Service lands regarding nudity. The Sheriffs dept, BLM, CPS and Fish and Game Depts. are in a position to cite or arrest you if you were found to be nude in these lands. Interference at DCHS by other agencies in reference to nudity has shown itself to be a very rare occurence but the visitor should be aware that nudity is not tolerated in regards to the policies of these other agencies that can impact the area. Its best to be dressed around any roads, including dirt roads since this is the most likely place you might come across some of these other agency personel in the DCHS area. " . Ron, since DCHS is visited by many people who go there since they beleive it is a " safe haven " for being unclothed I think it would be important to have this information within the brochure so the visitor understands more clearly the actual policy arrangement in this area. If the visitor just calls the Forest Service and who they talk to just tells them about the Forest Services take on nudity then the visitor may very well be under the false illusion that they are protected from the possibility of a citation or possible arrest. Thats whats happened to me. Also I'll do what I can to make it to DCHS on the 24th. I will be at Burning Man on the 31st.
