The website was map less for over a year. After many people requested maps of the area, even people who go there regularly, I finally put up good maps. This may have been also due to the Willow Fire and the change in routes.
It is impossible to keep Deep Creek Hot Springs a secret. The media has always been interested in places like this. Today we have the internet which allows increased access to information.
There are books, Mike Castro's flyers w/maps, Mike Castro's, at least, 10 commercial rave parties with hundreds of people each time. I am not the only person with a website that shows Deep Creek and how to get there.
I used to go to the hotsprings on a regular basis. I have only been three times in the past 2 years. I do not believe that I am safe in the Deep Creek area. I am being deprived of access to my public lands because of what I perceive as a violent threat.
I believe that Mike Castro has harmed many people both physically and mentally. I believe that Mike Castro is a threat to the public. I think the public needs to be warned about his violent nature.
The other issues concerning the ownership of the Bowen Ranch will be decided by a judge and jury and it won't be too much longer. The ownership issue is complicated and unusual. I do not expect everyone to understand real estate law.
Deep Creek Hot Springs is on public land, therefore, any member of the public has the freedom to speak their opinions and affect policy decisions.
