I think EastBay also has a point in that the article was not written to help underprivileged kids in the inner city. I disagree, however, with the notion that the only reason Deep Creek is not a spa now is that there are no roads there. In fact, there was a road that came all the way to the creek up near warm springs. You can see the traces of it from the Bowen Ranch trail.
