SmokeScreener, In the situation that happened to me last weekend, I did comply and put on my clothes when a complaint was made and I did this without argument and have found out that but for the good fortune of knowing one of these sheriffs people ( involved with search and rescue practice ) I would have been arrested for being nude even though I was complying with Forest Service recomendations that should have supposedly protected me from arrest. I was lucky, the sheriff policy in a case like that would have been to arrest me and then the CPS would have become involve too. The Forestry policy would not have mattered or protected me in that case. I'm gathering information about all of this so I can, when I have the opportunity, be able to make people aware that people enjoying unclothed activities in those Forest Service lands do have some other things to consider besides " just " Forest Service policy.
