Most points found in the area are quartz and a few brown jasper ones found in the flats around dry lakes.Obsidian points are found farther north in the sierras mostly.I found an acorn smasher/grinder/hammer the other day.Its multifaceted so all sides can be used with the handgrip notched in the rock.An amazing piece of work!I think i will plant a sycamore tree where I found it since its on the land that I care for.
