Re: Name for New Group - Second Round

Ron, Thanks for the information. Hey, I was just being funny there about my 2nd and 3rd choices, but I am very serious on my 1st choice. In other words, I have no other choices or names to add to the list.

My reason for the name I chose, (Hot Spring Alliance) is because:
1.) the words "DEEP CREEK" to me is almost meaningless or worthless. If we were at another hot spring doing what we are doing here, I definitely would do the same thing there! I would vote for the same exact name again, (Hot Springs Alliance).
You may ask, why use the same name? Because we as hot springers, no matter what hot springs we are at, are merely interested in that particular hot spring that we regularly visit. I hope what said is understandable to you folks.
I admit I have a strange way of looking at things some times. Wizard has maybe experienced some of my different ways, I don't know.

2.) the word "Alliance" to me comes on strong. Ex., We're the Alliance. I like that!! "Hot Spring Alliance"
The ending of a group name like: Volunteers, Conservancy, Association, Group, Caretakers and Soakers sound a bit weak to me. Though I thought Caretakers and Soakers were interesting and I sort of like them as well.
I guess I would prefer not to have too long a name, Deep Creek Hot Springs XXXXXX, is just bit too long I think.

Lastly, I understand that if the name I like does not materialize, that's okay! I am just putting in my 2 cents worth. I doesn't mean I am going to get my way, I have no control over what others vote for or decide on.
I 'll have to be happy with whatever is choosen by all, and go with the flow.
Anyway, let's get a name and have some fun at the same time to.
