My family & I drove/camped the Alcan 3 years ago--a life-changing trip. The BEST hotsprings I have ever come across is on that trip, off the Alcan--it's called Liard Hotsprings, in British Columbia on the way to Yukon. It's like shangri-la, or heaven--a tropical rainforest with at least two hotsprings pools. It's developed--by that I mean, there is a campground, changing room & boardwalks to the springs, and you can't go naked, but it is wonderful, take my word for it! But be careful, people have been attacked & killed by bears there (this is NOT a joke!!!). Also, there are many hot springs in Alaska, some developed some not. If you have a strenuous hike in, you will probably be alone & can be naked. Chena Hotsprings, north of Fairbanks, is great. These places are clean, beautiful & pure, so respect them. You should get a book on travel in Alaska from a store or library for more details. Have a great time, you'll never want to come back!
