Naked Man, At the first meeting we held you were not present. I remember I was suprised that you did not make it after you said you would be coming. I beleive I saw you at DCHS the next day and you said that some kind of emergency came up. Anyway, Ron, Paul, Sycamore and I met at DCHS on the 5th and the 6th and discussed alot of things. We all agreed that it will be best to stay on the subjects of how to take care of the springs and to not get into the other devisive issues that have been argued about for a long time here. Ron has put together an excellent draft of something we could hand out as an informational flier that could be handed out to people at DCHS by the participants in the group we spoke of. I agree with AZ,s comment that the more of us involved with something like this the better. Ron mentioned that he will post his draft of the handout here on the forum to get feedback about its content. Then when its completed I know Brad Burns said that he would like to reveiw the completed draft to make sure everything meets his approval before it is actually handed out at DCHS. We need to respect his wishes on that. AZ, I know we have been going back and forth alot here on the forum lately, its not good for us and its not good for the springs. I am willing to bury the hatchet. I am encourged by the tone in your last few post in this thread. Somehow we need to find the way to get along and cooperate with eachother. We need to be also open to compromise somewhat on things that we do not agree on completely. These last couple of days down at DCHS were really fine. We had lots of positive conversation about how to aproach helping the springs. I would certainly like to see that we could all see eachother as friends working toward our interest of helping these springs we love the best way we can. Hopefully this may be the starting point of a better relationship between all of us. AZ, I know you love your milk, and I enjoy my Boxcar. We just have differant taste. Lets do as you discussed above and do our best to come together as a positive force working together to help DCHS. I have grown tired of the argument " Merry Go Round " and everybody I've talked to says its time to get off the negative ride that goes nowhere. Hopefully we can perhaps now start down a new road where we can find ourselves cooperating and on friendlier terms. I was down at DCHS on the 1st and I did a thorough clean up and came out with a good sized bag of trash. Yesterday, Ron and I did alot of cleanup and we broke up about 4 fire pits. I had told Ron about a Nerf Football that I had seen for a long time stuck in the cliff just down stream about 50 feet from the Arizona Pool. Paul told Ron that he had a rope. Paul brought the rope down to the springs yesterday and went to the top of the cliff and attached it to something up there. Ron then got a hold of the rope down in the creek and climbed up the cliff and got the Nerf Ball. Coming down proved to be harder that going up since there wasn't much footing. Near the bottom Ron lost his grip because of being tired and damaged his finger by sliding down the rope. I'd like to say thanks Ron for getting that peice of trash and that really shows some dedication to go through all of that to retreive a peice of trash. Thanks also to Paul for your efforts in getting the ball. Like to say thanks again to you Sycamore for your generous gifts of the Tie Dye dresses for the Munchkins! Happy Soakin to all of you :-)
