I just want to add that you and I, Mr. Wiz. did some good things at the hot springs over the years and the hot springs was made a better place on account of our "projects" and you personally know what I am speaking of.
We're merely flinging mud at each other and are not getting anywhere on account of it. I'll be glad to stop if you do! If you want the last word, fine, have the last word, but then end it.
Some of us talk about positve change, fine, then let's make a positive change! (Walk Your Talk!). Well start with you and I first, Mr. Wizard. We stop the petty bickering and mud flinging, because others are sick of it, including myself as well!

I thought that there was a group forming to deal with trash at the hot springs, whatever to happened to the effort? just curious, can anybody answer. We do get side tracked on this forum over other matters, why do we fall into this trap? We were on a roll there for a while, what hapopened to us?!
Let's return to the subject of trash being left behind at the hot springs and make an attempt resolve ways to reduce it.
I am willing to play and active roll in the effort, are any of you?. I remember reading posts by those talking about forming a concerned group and too much time was being devoted to figuring out what to name the group and a mission statement. All of that could have been done already. If you need help? I am able to. Whatever happened to Ron? He seemed interested and was playing an active roll as well !
Lastly, if a reasonably good size group of us is formed, I would be willing to ask Mike C. at the ranch to permit us park for free overnight, because I know some of us have vehicles unable to get back into the backcountry. That to me would some incentive to start off getting things off to a good start.
Our little so-called sting, would not be dangerous, non-confrontational, just a friendly chat with the party natives at the hot springs. We can start by letting these party folks know that we are concerned of their trash being left behind at the hot spprings. We merely deliver them a message to clean after themselves and we can promote proper outdoor etiquette and respect for the enivronment there at the springs and trails.
Also after we finish doing our good deed, we could have a little pot luck dinner there. Anyone interested? Let's do something logical and something positive and benificial as well.
Later,...... Arizona
