Here Sycamore, I'll supply with Tanya's reply to Katrina that I referred to in my earlier post today. Also see my next for Tany's other reply as well.

Katrina,I am pleased to see you removed of our address and the Grant Deed is indeed a matter of public record. When we purchased our property in January,we secured a deed of trust for our loan to purchase our land through the seller, Fred Moss. The only document that Mr. Moss was legally allowed to record with the county was the Deed of Trust. Before the sale was legally allowed to go through and the loan secured, we had to employ a title company and a title insurance company to determine what legally existed on the parcel and what, if any , roads or easements existed. We also employed someone independently to research this matter. What they all discovered is that no easement or road exists there. The title insurance company is not legally allowed to insure a purchaser without informing them of any roads or easements or structures which exist thereon. The deed of trust is then insured and the loan secured once the purchaser is informed of anything necessary. The title company then sends the information to the county who again has to research the title before it can record its new owner. The county is the only entity responsible for writng and sending the Grant Deed/Title. Fred Moss would not be capable of removing a single paragraph of our Grant Deed. The original document written in his name when it was sold to him was sent to him by the county also.It is not possible for anyone to write their own Grant Deeds and then submit them to the county.
When I said I had seen people turned away I did not say violently. For every one idiot you have ever seen at the Springs there are 9 more that were turned away . Some for wanting to take glass and/ or coolers down there . Some because they were unprepared for the hike or climate, some because they planned to camp at the springs at night. And others who have made women feel uncomfortable and been complained about. And still others for inappropriate behavior around children. I could go on. I have spent many hours sitting at that gate politely turning people away . .I have not seen any of these dealt with violently-Just asked to leave. If they don't leave when asked they are reported to the police.
I just would like to see everyone stop worrying about the Mike nonsense and start worrying about the springs. I believe it should be a word of mouth -invitation only kind of place. Only invite people you would want to
spend your time with there and otherwise. That is not say you have to be a snob-Just a little common sense and good judgement when telling folks about the place. I wholeheartedly agree with Naked Mans Post about the Springs .We can preserve it how it is if those who love it keep it clean and shield it from harm.
