Saw two unsettling, cautionary news articles about Deep Creek this week. A woman fainted while hiking out from the springs and was rescued by helicopter. And an elderly hiker died on Hot Springs trail.

One-hundred-degree days are upon us. Bring lots of water, hike in the morning and evening, and be wise! The outdoors is too spectacular to have tragedy strike.
