Re: Any current Trip reports

Sorry Trailgal, my last trip was almost two weeks ago, so I don't know exact weather conditions. I found it pretty easy to cross back then - only knee deep, and there was a path of stepping-stones so I didn't even have to go that deep.

As for parking, I've been going to the new Campground parking lot near Mike @ Bowen... it's a little sketchy, but I like that it's closer to the trailhead, I got lost once using Mike's new directions, and also there's the whole long history of Mike confronting people or threatening them (though he's always been okay with me... except for getting me lost once).

I'd also caution you, DO NOT go on weekends. The crowds, noise, and litter are worse than I've ever seen lately. I have a much better time on week days, when I can bring a trash bag along and clean up in peace - and when there aren't 60 textiles giving me side-eye for being naked
