Okay, I should've read this forum earlier and realized the SBNF was closed. Sorry for being a rule breaker. But that said, here's how it went.
Got to the new camp at 11:30am. Only about 4 or 5 other cars in the lot. Free hiked in, and didn't see a single soul.
Down at the springs, I saw one couple (textiles) bouncing between the pools. I mostly hung out in the creek - seemed a bit higher than a month ago.
I had never walked over to 420 / GET NAKED beach before, so I did that journey. I left my clothes and shoes across the creek, so I do NOT recommend anyone do that trip (only about a 10 min walk from the springs) naked and shoeless. Lots of sharp rocks, prickly plants, etc. There were about 5 more people up at 420/GET NAKED beach, only one of them naked (lol)!
Made it a quick trip, so I hiked back up soon after. Only passed one person.
Very quiet day. Not a lot of trash.
