Trip report 5/24

Parked at the ranch about 10 and hiked in to the springs. It was horrible, tents everywhere. At the beach when you first get to the springs there were 5 tents. There was a group of idiots at the contemplation pool that had 2 tents and 2 hammocks spread across the pool so they and their group of 5 or so could completely dominate that area and nobody else could use the pools. I gave them and the idiot in the hammock my opinion of their actions and the 2 young punk girls started mouthing off. The guy in the hammock was a big pussy because I called him out and he just rolled the hammock over his face and let the punk girls mouth off. Total jerks and idiots. Anyway tents were every where and the place was a hell hole. I guess this is what happens when they close beaches and the only place people can go is the mountains ? There was a helicopter flying around, not sure why but maybe filming the action? I bet the place is trashed beyond belief after this mess. Be glad you didn't go, wish I had not.
