...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES FOR THE MOUNTAINS OF SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA...

.A cold storm system will develop over Southern California on
Sunday and continue into early Monday. The snow levels will drop
rapidly over the mountains, resulting in light snow accumulations
and possible hazardous travel conditions with fog, gusty winds,
and slippery roads. Freezing conditions will develop in pass
areas as well Sunday night.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM SUNDAY TO 10 AM
PST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions. Tree
branches could fall as well. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6
inches, with localized amounts up to 10 inches in the San
Bernardino Mountains, are expected.

* WHERE...Mainly elevations at or above 4000 feet, but some snow
could fall on the lower slopes, including the desert foothills.

* WHEN...10 AM Sunday to 10 AM Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibility at times
in snow, blowing snow, and fog. Freezing temperatures will
affect the Cajon Pass on Sunday night with possible light snow
accumulations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving.
