It would make more sense, if these new owners are going to set up a website and more camping and more advertising of their access route to the springs, that they also involve themselves in the care of the place that their capitalizing will impact.
.
As mentioned, the cat is out of the bag, and everyone and anyone can find info online about the springs. People are going to go there. Knowing this, newbies need to be "educated" regarding basic information- like taking out their trash, no camping at the springs, etc.etc.
Remember a few years back some of us former Deep Creek Volunteers came up with a nice simple brochure with some basic etiquette rules for the springs? We weren't forcing it down people's throats- it was purely an informational, educational brochure with the goal of helping newcomers respect the place. I think it would be great if Brett and Jessica passed out the brochures to all visitors coming through their access point.
No one wants to see Deep Creek ruined or closed.
