I thought it odd to see this on the mainstream national news - I saw it on CNN first.

I am remembering being on a trip six years ago this week, I was in Copenhagen, Denmark for the first time. And walking around town with my wife. And it started to get windy. And I thought, maybe this is normal in Denmark. And it started to get windier. And suddenly tree branches started to crack in a nearby park, and we were far from where we were staying, and we turned around and started to walk back. And it got windier, and I thought, wow weather in Denmark is weird, and suddenly it got windier, and I heard a crash, and windows were falling out of a nearby building. And then I think we kinda started to run. And then we reached our hotel, and the staff was in a panic, as shutters on the historic building had been ripped off. And then we realized we were in a hurricane, had been walking around the city streets in a hurricane. A real one. In Denmark. It was crazy times.
