Some friends and I are taking our fall trip out there this Sunday (10/6/19). What have the hiking conditions been like on the Freedom trail? Are the daytime temps more comfortable than they were in July? How is the creek looking? How are the evening hike out temperatures? Has there been more trash than usual so I can leave room in my pack?
Part of the fun is the element of surprise, but I would like to plan accordingly. Thank you for anyone who can help with my questions!
Also, thank you to everyone who regularly posts on here. I go on here and see what's going on all the time. I check out any conditions, warnings, notes about how things are. I finally decided to register and participate.
