Rick, I speak from 36 years of experience living and swimming on Florida beaches. I was an avid swimmer. On the YMCA swimming team for 7 years. From 1959 - 1966. I Have very closely looked at these algae blooms even more closely because my neighbor and good friend work for the E.P.A. monitoring the water in our area. She got her degree in marine biology. Our home was on Pensacola bay. I have known her since grade school. She is currently the E.P.A.regional director. It would be an very interesting book if I wrote about her life.
