40K = 40 King the name of the copter? Also these stories almost always name Deep Creek Hot Springs as the site of the catastrophe, but they almost never are. Deep Creek Road? This must be near the dam? Can someone decode the location for me.
About a month ago, June 15, on a day the naturist groups were visiting the springs again, a serious incident did happen with a sick hiker at the springs. He had to be airlifted out. Ralph from NiTOC posted a video on Vimeo of the whole event. I was told by a friend who was there that day that they don't think that hiker made it. But I didn't read any news on that event, or find any coverage.
