Love the photos of DCHS! Jobe is in one of his favorite places for sure as " seen " in the pics I was down there yesterday with my daughter. It was a busy day, lots of folks. Saw the big rock by the beach with all the graffiti, and all the rest of it up the trail, sad to see :-( Because of the warmer temps apparently the snow was melting up higher and the creek rose a bit by late afternoon, being clear in the morning but murky by the afternoon. Had enjoyable visits with old time regulars. The Phoenix pool was cold due to the extra runoff coming down the creek. The sand bag pool out in the creek near the Serenity Pool was cold also for the same reason. I soaked with other happy visitors in the Anniversary Pool as my soaking hot tub of choice for the day :-) All plant and tree life was looking fabulous due to all of the rains this season and late spring time conditions. Upstream a ways I came very close to a Southern Pacific Rattler. It reminded me its time to slow down and watch everywhere I walk. It did not rattle or move so maybe it did not notice me, or felt it was safe where it was. Still lots of flowering things out there. Looks like warmer weather is coming in about a week
