It goes without saying never leave ANYTHING valuable or important in your vehicle if you park at the Freedom Trailhead. Be sure to take your car registration and car insurance papers with you when you hike to the springs. A friend of mine had his registration stolen and he had to work through the identity theft for almost two years!
