You can cross the creek. It was still quite flowing, and high - on the shallow sand bar that most use to cross, it is still there after the floods but it is not really shallow yet and the creek comes up to your waist or higher. Most heft their packs over their heads and do it as quick as possible. There will be shrinkage. There will be mega shrinkage. I mean, it might disappear. The water was just above freezing about a week ago, 30s/40s.
