During a couple of wet springs when the creek was high, I rigged up a rope across the creek and had a pulley on it so people could attach their stuff and send it across the rope. Worked well, but inevitably someone would steal it, so I stopped doing it. I know others have also put up a rope over the creek in other years. In lieu of that, putting your stuff in a garbage bag and carrying it on or over your head works fine as long as the creek is not raging. I’ve seen many people get knocked down crossing it during heavy flow. One girl got pulled down a few hundred feet downstream from the Contemplation Pool location. She got scraped up on the rocks pretty bad! Be safe folks!
