That flood did help with the itch problem, for a while, but it came back, I know from being affected myself, and from hearing the stories of others getting it. It is a natural organism that causes this, irritating the pours which for some people cause like an allergic reaction, kind of like small mosquito bites. Regarding this problem, the Phoenix Pool is the best, and the Womb is generally the worst since it is cooler and has more debris at the bottom which I think may cause an increase in the numbers of this organism. Some lucky people are not affected by it. The longer you soak the more the possibility that you could be affected. I have had it so bad on some occasions that I literally could not sleep for some hours due to the itching, and once you get the exposure, from my experience there is not much you can do to ease the itching until it wanes on its on, depending on exposure for some hours to a couple of days. The little red bumps do go away and on myself I have never seen any marks from them. Another name for this problem is Hot tub folliculitis, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_tub_folliculitis
