As Wizard mentioned, the Victor Valley Museum has more history and some pictures of the aqueduct. Water was brought in from Deep Creek in the via a seven-mile, 14-inch steel pipe which ended in a reservoir. Known as the Hesperia Ditch this small aqueduct brought water from the tiny Lake Adelaide several miles up Deep Creek to an open reservoir seven miles away in what is now Lime Street Park.
