Trip Report: 8/27/2018

Had a hectic week so this one is a little late. Set out from Bowen at around 7:30am with a friend who has been cleaning up garbage at the hot springs for the past several years. We did a deep clean of the womb before the sun came out and drained the anniversary and contemplation pools. Overall it was pretty nice, sunny but not sweltering with a good breeze. There were probably 5 nude and 6 textiles all day. When we left around 5pm we had several bags of garbage and we finally hiked out that stupid PCT "trail box" aka storage bin that a guy who called himself party boy left. People were using it as a de facto garbage can and there were several broken glass liquor bottles in it. Glad to get it out of there.
