Just in time for Labor Day Weekend, finding information for your trip to Angeles National Forest and San Bernardino National Forest just got a lot easier. Both national forest units today launched forest-specific mobile apps, which are currently available in the Google Play and Apple App stores.
“Visitors plan their trips in a variety of ways, and offering a mobile-friendly option is one way the public has asked for, especially younger generations,” said San Bernardino National Forest Supervisor Jody Noiron. “This beta version is our first attempt, so we hope visitors find it useful and can offer us feedback.”
The apps focus on campgrounds and trails, which are the most highly sought-after information on forest websites, but also include maps, tours and other basic information.
The apps can be accessed on the web at http://angelesnf.oncell.com and http://sbnf.oncell.com.
