Search on this board for the "Bradford Ridge" - you will find older discussion and even maps posted, lots of information. Basically the trail is a bit harder (especially in the heat) than the Bowen Ranch goat trail. It is a little longer, about 3 miles each way. It goes up and down the big steep ridge on the hot spring side of the creek, just down creek a bit from the springs. So the trail starts up near Lake Arrowhead, you avoid the desert this way and dirt roads, it is paved to the trailhead. And while longer and much steeper, you avoid having the cross the creek, which is useful especially in the winter, when the water gets high and icy.
