One of the things I dislike about DCHS is that, when hiking alone, I have no cell reception with which to make a call if anything bad happened. Does anyone get service down at the Springs? I can get them up at Bowen, but as soon as I start down the hill it's gone for the rest of the hike. If you are able to get even a modest signal - enough to send a text - while at the pools, please let me know which provider you use.
