Well, the ranch parking lot is not without problems. I got there late Sat morning and left some cheap solar garden lights charging in the ground in front of my truck so I could use them when camping that night, and someone helped themselves to them. I guess it wasn't that smart on my part; but I hope whoever got my lights has them explode!

I'm planning on leaving Los Angeles this Friday noon and camp until Sunday morning, so I guess getting more lights is not option, makes me think about my folding chair and even the tent. Is going to be a hassle to put everything back inside the SUV Sat morning to get it back out Sat night!

But still is the easiest way to get to the springs. That night, a nice lady got stranded when her truck didn't start but she had phone signal and had Auto service show up Sunday morning; I don't think they could had made it to the freedom trail road.
