We all better get along ! Somthing I have seen here at the springs scares the hell out of me. this is it back in the mid 70's there used to be a place called Otreaga hot springs along hwy 74 just south of Lake Elsinor. the springs were wide open any one could just about drive right up .as time went along things got worse the city came closer it became easer to get there ,gangs came up , fights ,big fires, broken glass; you can still find it down strean ,Murder, army/navy investigation they blew the place up. Washing state last year, Senic hot springs, open access to springs, fights, cops ; army comens in cuts it up with chainsaws and blasted that too. WANT MORE ? just a couple months ago Miracle hot springs met the dozers , guess why? open acess to springs and the city getting closer. and the times they are-a changen.
IS DEEP CREEK NEXT ? I hope not.
Do you rember who came and fixed the trail across the river? Army Corps of Engineers, did a good job too!
who blrw up all the springs ? one and the same, not beacuse they are the Army. But beacuse the peoples voice say that they are a danger beacuse of unrestricted access, close it down and the bad eliment will go elsware to reak havioc.
I don't have a proplem with a new trail,( I'm getting old ) and I will defend his right to use public lands. but how am I going to defend those down there some nice night when a load of people drive up in the middle of the night with cases of beer loud music, mike gets up and turns on the light and looks. the cable is up. he sees that they can be potential trouble and says "the springs are closed come back in the morning" they leave. end of story? no they go aroung the another road and once again unlimitted access and then end of DCHS,Inc Mike And the springs by the anmy.again For give my spelling.
