Paul P. I've always done the Vivian Creek route and its pretty popular so free hiking is a little difficult, also the trail itself is quite strenuous so be prepared. Like Neogeo said people posting summit pics in the buff is sometimes expected; however, it can be quite chilly and windy up there so again be prepared hahaha!!! One time I did have the summit to myself but I got up there late in the day around 3:00 and I was the only one; other times it's been crowded, but I don't think anyone minds or they just ignore it ha!

Best advice, try to go mid week and you'll likely avoid crowds. You might get a little free hiking in or you could camp half way up at high creek and may have a campground to yourself.
