Back in the day....you would have to pay a toll to Bowen Ranch, " Bowen Ranch Toll Road" to cross or park at Bowen Ranch. You could then drive down to the hiking trail from the ranch. I hear somebody complained about being charged to cross into public lands. So Bowen Ranch closed the 4x4 trail through there property and now charge to park or camp. Now you have the option of parking at Bowen Ranch or driving around on BLM or National Forest trails. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
