As Neogeo pointed out, you need 4 wheel drive. You get there by going around the Bowen Ranch on its west side, look at google maps. That route does not save you time as compared to parking at the Bowen Ranch. Its a slow drive on a rough rd, a shorter hike but a longer dirt road. For some people though its what they want to do
