Kinda stupid on my friends part for trying to take an unfamiliar path back, but we were looking for a split in the trail for the less steep path, so we must have missed it per your suggestion.
Yeah I totally would have missed it as well if I wasn't told it.

Question on your report:
How was the Arizona pool and Contemplation pool?
Last I heard, Arizona pool went into the river due to recent rains, so people used sandbags to make 1-3 person pool up that.
Arizona pool is underwater. It's gonna take another month or two until that river goes down far enough probably for the arizona pool to be rebuilt I think.
Which one is the contemplation pool? The one at the far end (near the river crossing?) or the one on the other end, upstream?
