Hmmm, I thought it was his kind-heart that prompted him to help travelers in distress.
So now the authorities are forcing him against his will to help stranded travelers??? And telling him to carry a gun (presumably loaded) when he does their job???
Why doesn't he just say no if he doesn't want to help? It's not his job. It's not our job either, but we are willing to help others when we are there. He can tell the authorities to do their job. Is there some reason why he can't tell them to do their job? Is there an understanding between them that he has to do this for them????
PS Mike: Please write "wandering" ... these people are not questioning things out there ... they are going from place to place!
