Before moving to Hesperia, our family lived in Upland. My brother and I attended Sunday school at a large church on the northeast corner of Seventh Avenue and Campus Street. It was just a half block from our house. They had interesting classes and activities for kids. When we moved to Hesperia, there was no Sunday school — not even a church building. But that didn't deter the small community....
