In the warmer months when DCHS gets busier, when I visit Deep Creek I many times hike to other places upstream or downstream from the springs. If I go to DCHS, I will check out what is going on, and if I am not liking the scene, then I will move on. I always have a very rewarding and satisfying day when spent at the special beautiful quieter spots on Deep Creek that I love visiting. Just simple nature has a way of soothing the soul and inspiring the mind, something I seek in my adventures to Deep Creek So much in this world is beyond our control, like stupid stuff that goes on down at DCHS.
