In the warmer months when DCHS gets busier, when I visit Deep Creek I many times hike to other places upstream or downstream from the springs. If I go to DCHS, I will check out what is going on, and if I am not liking the scene, then I will move on. I always have a very rewarding and satisfying day when spent at the special beautiful quieter spots on Deep Creek that I love visiting. Just simple nature has a way of soothing the soul and inspiring the mind, something I seek in my adventures to Deep Creek So much in this world is beyond our control, like stupid stuff that goes on down at DCHS. Sometimes the best way to deal with an obstacle, is not to keep butting up against it, but rather, find a way to go around it
