Squidny90, so sorry to hear about this horrible incident with your vehicle. Regarding you ever visiting DCHS again, one option you might consider is accessing by way of the Bradford Ridge Trail, which goes to Deep Creek and DCHS from the south off of HWY 173. Its pavement all the way to the trailhead and you don't have to pay there.
