I was at the springs the Saturday prior to the reports by neo and hiker, and it too was a glorious day filled with a very large group of great hot springers young and old. As I think back on it, I believe there were more girls than guys. Lots of people, lots of nakedness, no idiots. Just a fantastic vibe with lots of good conversations. I wonder if it is a summer/winter difference to which both hiker and neo alluded?

But back to the original thread, when I was leaving Sunday morning there were 3 cars signing in at the Bowen entrance. Another exiting car drove around the shack on the junkyard side (east?) so I followed him around, bypassing the traffic jam. There is the normal Bowen "right to pass..." sign there that I'd not noticed before but may have been there for years. Might this be the new entrance you're talking about Paul? Probably not, it certainly isn't "away from the Bowen Ranch house", it's just on the other side.
